On his thoughts on the match…

We wish the score line would’ve come out differently. We started the game well, and I think we looked good for the first 20 to 25 minutes and we had some good moments. Second half, our defending shape looked pretty good. We turned the ball over in some good areas, but we weren’t able to turn those into chances. We do have a young team and a little bit of inexperience on how to manage some of those moments where you're under a bit of pressure and the game starts to feel like it's slipping, but that's part of the learning curve as well. It's important for these guys, the young players to have those moments so that they can grow and improve.

On his thoughts of Jorge Gonzalez’ debut…

I mean Jorge is a guy that we've been waiting on for a while. We had a difficult time with getting his work permit and getting him available to play. He’s done a tremendous job with the travel internationally in order to fulfill that and managing to stay fit enough that he could put in the shift that he did. It’s exciting to see him make his debut and to have a young player like him get a chance to come on and play, and I don't think he gave the ball away once when he came on. We’ve seen him in training now for quite a while and he's been very steady and he's continued to improve. It’s definitely a long-term thing for him at such a young age, but to make your first professional appearance at 15 years of age is really encouraging.

On T2’s upcoming match against Sacramento Republic FC…

I think the biggest one is recovery. We’ve had a couple quick turnarounds here with the rescheduling of our first game that’s compressed the schedule in a way that we didn't initially anticipate. We’re going to check on the guys and make sure that they're recovering, and their bodies are feeling good and fresh so that we can get in and put in a good performance in the next game.
