Portland, OR – After four months of stoppage of play from the USL Championship season, T2 will host its first home match tonight at Providence Park; kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), and the match will be available on ESPN+ at

T2 (0-2-0) will face off against Reno 1868 FC (1-1-0) for the first time this season. In week 26 of the 2019 USL Championship season, T2 earned a 3-1 road victory over Reno at Greater Nevada Field on Saturday, August 31. Carlos Anguiano tallied his first professional goal and assist in the contest. With limited travel for the remainder of the year, this will be the first of four matches against Reno. The clubs will also face each other on August 15, September 5 and 20.

Led by third-year head coach Cameron Knowles, T2 will look for their first win of the season tonight after finishing the 2019 campaign with a 10-16-8 record. A couple new faces to the roster since stoppage of play are Williams Velásquez and Aaron Molloy. Velásquez was acquired on a loan from Watford FC of the English Premier League, and Molloy was a three-year starter for Penn State University (2017-19). Both players started and logged 90 minutes of playing time in T2’s last match on July 18.

Following their home opener against Reno 1868 FC, T2 will host the Tacoma Defiance on Monday, August 3, at Providence Park; kickoff is set for 6 p.m. (Pacific), and the match will be available on ESPN+.
