RECAP | T2 FALL ON THE ROAD TO TACOMA DEFIANCE

Portland will face Reno 1868 FC at home on July 26

TACOMA, Wash. - In their first 2020 USL Championship regular-season match since March 7, T2 fell 3-0 on the road to the Tacoma Defiance at Cheney Stadium on Saturday night.

T2 Debuts
On a loan from English Premier League side Watford FC, defender Williams Velásquez started and logged all 90 minutes for T2. Midfielder Aaron Molloy also made his T2 debut, while leading the team with four shots. Forward Salvador “JR” Villegas replaced Gerardo Duran in the 70th minute and completed the match.

Timbers Academy On Display

Forward Gio Calixtro logged his first start of the season for T2, playing all 90 minutes. Midfielder Carlos Anguiano also played the entirety of the match, while defender Mitchell Ferguson logged 13 minutes as a substitute.
